"I took this photograph standing on Guanabara, " explains Anita Soares. "I had clear view of Sugar Hill Mountain and of the Corcovado." Illuminated by the last rays of sunlight, the effect is magnificent. Stilled by the camera, the sea's impetuous tides maintain their dynamic essence in Soares's opportune photograph.
