Low clouds threaten the arid lands of Brazil\'s northeast as they hover above highway 242 connecting Salvador and Brasilia. Hugo Curti transmits the drama of this apocalyptic scene all the while the approaching storm might offer solace to the dried-up landscape. Titled \"Tempestade\" in Portuguese, this photograph is laser-printed on Fuji color paper and features a cardboard mat.
