With the golden feather of wisdom in one hand, Michael the Archangel holds out his right hand towards the heavens gesturing divine intervention. His name asks, "Who is like God?" and he is the patron saint of the sick as well as police, paratroopers and grocers.
'Madonna with the Child'
Alberto Torres portrays Mary as a young mother dressed in regal clothing that befits the queen of heaven. Stars on her gown suggest her celestial condition and gold leaf shines from their halos.
'Mary Guadalupe'
The Virgin of Guadalupe is queen of the heavens � she stands on the moon and her cloak holds the stars. She first appeared in Mexico in 1531 and, as proof, caused roses to bloom at the site.
