Engraved brass art, 'Magical Fish'

Leaping from the swirling waters of the sea, Saringka Mussaya is momentarily silhouetted against the night sky. The magical horned fish is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hindu tradition and is thought to dwell in the mythical Himmaphan where many sacred animals live. Poonsak depicts the creature in gleaming brass framed in red cotton tree wood. The composition can stand on a desk or be hung from the wall.
