Engraved brass art, 'Thai Swan'

Strolling through the mythical Himmaphan forest, home of many sacred animals, a swan pauses to pick up a fallen leaf. Poonsak explores Thai literature and legends in a work he names Hongsa, the literary term for "Swan." The images are created in gleaming brass and copper on a cotton background framed in Siamese sal wood.
