Artisans from Mexico's Reintegrate Foundation create a classic nativity scene in colorful ceramic. They depict a youthful Mary and Joseph with a cow, donkey and sheep. Safe with his parents, little Jesus rests in his bed of straw. Each piece is crafted and painted by hand.

According to the tenets of Hinduism, a deva is a guardian of light and life who constantly wages battle upon demons known as asuras. In Thailand, this particular deva sculpted by Sorapon Dhupagupta is called Phra Poom, and is a powerful spirit who protects the house and the land.
