Gemstone statuette, 'Little Mallard'

With its distinctive green head, a mallard duck peeks shyly from its sparkling quartz nest. Willy Macedo depicts the wild bird in a colorful gemstone sculpture. Blue-green chrysocolla forms the head and obsidian becomes the body. Tiger's eye lends its golden color to the beak while the statuette sits on an onyx base.
