Obsidian choker, 'Tomorrow Cat'

A variety of obsidian known as atigrada ("tiger-style" or "striped") graces this design with its fascinating veins. Sandra and Lily combine the smooth squares with textured beads in a beautiful design they name Kaya, "Tomorrow" in Quechua. The choker is fashioned from alpaca, an alloy comprised primarily of copper and zinc.
