Woman's cotton robe, 'Zigzag'

Black outlines wide zigzags in gray and tan. Cristin Carolin creates the motifs with the traditional ikat technique. The cotton threads are tie-dyed with natural colors before they are woven. Carolin transforms the cloth into a generous robe with two front pockets and a tie belt.
