The design of this rug bears traditional Zapotec patterns in novel, modern colors. "I wanted to weave this rug in this way, as an original gift, " confides Mario Ch�vez. He looms the rug of natural wool featuring a cross at the center surrounded by replicas of millenary glyphs.

Arresting zigzag designs nestled in rust hues embellish this wool rug by the Ruiz Bazan Family. The wool used is obtained from local farmers and tinted with naturally extracted dyes, resulting in harmonious color variations.
