Zapotec wool rug, 'Red Lightning' (2x3)

Like tongues of fire, lightning streaks across a background of ardent red. Alberto Ruiz weaves a bold design in virgin wool. Named "Uni�n de Diamantes" in Spanish, the traditional Zapotec rug is created on the handloom and takes its fiery colors from natural dyes. Because each rug is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 10 cm.
