Shaped like a treasure chest, this jewelry box emulates a colonial heirloom. The Asis Family works together to craft it of cedar wood. Richly tooled leather covers the chest and a lift-out tray features three compartments.

Forever linked to Mexico, the Virgin of Guadalupe is queen of the heavens � she stands on the moon and her cloak holds the stars. She first appeared in 1531 to Juan Diego outside Mexico City and, as proof, caused roses to bloom at the site.
