Ceramic vases, 'Swans' (set of 3)

Pristine white swans arise from a dark lake, taking wing on Chulucanas-style ceramics. Christian creates a set of three vases that pay tribute to pre-Hispanic art. Crafted by hand, their technique comes from the Vicus culture, which dates to the 6th century B.C. Exposing the pieces to smoke creates the dark coloration. Ceramics such as these are entirely unique � not even the artisan can recreate one. Thus slight variations of color or brushstrokes confirm their originality and authenticity.
