Cotton children's quilt, 'Burgundy'

A stylish burgundy border embraces the central patch of local Ghanaian designs, where multiple triangles present a fluid contrast of tones. The quilt is made from sheda, a 100% cotton cloth recognized for its silky texture. Hannah Dodoo carefully stitches the material over a flexible soft foam pad, resulting in a comfortable embrace for children. Elaborated with batik-dyed motifs, the quilt may also be used as a wall hanging or floor covering.
