Planter, 'Colorful Calico'

Brilliant blossoms in yellow and blue form a colorful calico pattern. Ravi Rela works in the traditional meenakari technique, applying enamel to sheets of embossed brass bathed in gleaming nickel. They are applied to an octagonal mango wood planter. Crushed precious stones, or meena were originally used, giving meenakari its name.
