Wood djembe drum, 'Thanksgiving'
Superbly crafted of tweneboa wood, this elegant djembe drum features wave motifs that flow around the upper portion. Geometric zigzags adorn the base. Nana Adu Amankwapam I names it Aseda II, or "Thanks" in the Akan language, as such drums play a vital role during festivals. The goatskin head is affixed by iron rings wrapped in cloth, and a macram cord can be slung over the shoulder.
