Surveying the world from the hilltop, a llama symbolizes the Andes. The bright image adorns a colorful hand drum by Juan Le�n Ponce. He creates the piece by tightly stretching cowhide over a wooden frame. Known as a tamborina or "little drum, " it includes a cumala wood drumstick.
