Buy Now!

This flute of Inca origin features two Castilian canes, one emits a low pitch and the other a higher. When blown independently they produce a most melodic tune; when blown together, the two canes produce a gruff sound very similar to a snore, hence the name of this flute is roncadora ("snoring"). To ensure the roncadora will produce quality sounds, Benito Tito chooses canes are of the same diameter. He then cuts them at different lengths and ties them together with Cuzco ribbons. Tito includes a miniature roncadora flute as a gift, as well as colorful pouch reminiscent of Cuzco weaves. Pouch is 70% wool and 30% nylon.
